As a cooperative credit union, we work to provide our members with free and low-cost services where possible. Conveniences like notary services, money orders and cashier’s checks, a coin machine, and more ensure we’ve got you covered.
Notarizing documents is often a required third-party authentication for many legal and financial transactions. Notaries serve as certified impartial witnesses to the signing of documents like real estate deeds, bills of sale, wills, and other formal documents.
Your Good Neighbors branch provides certified Notarization during open hours at no cost for members.
This secure payment method is a prepaid alternative to personal checks or credit cards for smaller transactions. Unlike personal checks, a Money Order ensures its receiver that it will not bounce. Money Orders are typically inexpensive and suitable for smaller transactions where personal checks or credit cards are not accepted.
At Good Neighbors, Money Orders can be requested in person at any branch and are free for members like you.
A Cashier’s Check is a financial instrument issued by a bank or credit union and backed by the bank’s funds. This provides a payment with a higher level of security and less vulnerability to fraud.
Most banks or financial institutions charge $10–25 per Cashier’s Check, but Good Neighbors members can request one from any branch teller at no cost.
Certified Checks are issued by banks but are drawn on the funds in the check writer’s checking account. The bank certifies that the funds are available and that the account holder’s signature is genuine, guaranteeing that funds are available.

A Wire Transfer is an electronic method of transferring funds from one bank to another to banks in the US and globally. Wire Transfers are used to complete real estate transactions, international payments to businesses or individuals, and urgent payments that need to take place quickly and securely.
Foreign and domestic outgoing Wire Transfers are available from Good Neighbors members. See the current fee schedule for details.
Our branch Coin Machines easily converts loose change into cash or deposits without wrapping coins into rolls.
This service is free to Good Neighbors members, located at our 5145 Broadway location.
Our branches offer members access to an ATM 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Perform bank transactions at no cost on your own schedule at your convenience, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and balance inquiries.
Members can also use ATMs surcharge-free through our partnership with AllPoint Network.
At this time, we offer night deposit at our 5145 Broadway location.
