TITLE: Accounting Clerk

REPORTS TO: Finance Manager

WHO YOU ARE: As a key representative of Good Neighbors Credit Union, this individual will follow detailed and standardized procedures to balance and update general ledger and subsidiary accounts, maintain and reconcile daily cash accounts, manage other accounting-related duties, and prepare various accounting reports as requested.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, pay and file all accounts payable for the credit union. Research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and enter daily and monthly general ledger transactions including investment activity and schedule, employee payroll, benefits and 401k entries.
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger for various accounts as assigned
  • Generate a variety of reports and statements as requested by management. Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis.
  • Post and reconcile the subsidiary records for the accrued income from investment accounts
  • Review daily cash balances
  • Maintain working knowledge of various account software programs
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager

TITLE: Member Services Specialist (Teller) 

REPORTS TO: Member Service Manager (Branch Manager)

WHO YOU ARE:
The successful candidate will be:
  • Looking for the opportunity to deliver meaningful financial services
  • 1-3 years hands-on cash handling
  • 1-3 years customer service experience
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, & resourcefulness.
WHAT THE JOB IS:
  • Performing accurate teller transactions such as deposits and withdrawals
  • Troubleshooting account questions and issues
  • Maintaining a balanced cash drawer and check deposit
  • Delivering high-quality, friendly, and accurate service
  • Position could be part-time for the right candidate
