Opening a savings account for your preteen is one of the best ways to teach them about money. With NextGen Savers, children get a deeper understanding of money management skills and personal responsibility. Children who understand money feel more in control and empowered to manage their finances, set goals, and solve problems.

NextGEN Savers

NextGen is an extension of our Little Neighbors Savings program for our pre-teen savers designed to help education young people on the power of financial literacy.  The NextGen Savers program promotes:

  • Financial Independence
  • Responsible Spending Habits
  • A Positive Relationship With Money
  • Goal Setting

Open A NextGen Savers Account

This savings account is open to kids ages 11-14.

To open your child’s NextGen savings account, you’ll need the following forms of ID:

  • School ID
    AND
  • Social Security Card OR Birth Certificate

There are no minimum balance requirements, withdrawal limits, or monthly maintenance fees. You’ll also have access to free online banking, mobile deposit, and e-statements.

If your child was already apart of our Little Neighbors Savings Program, this easily transfers to the next level.

Our NextGen Savings program is offered at both our Buffalo and Depew branches.

Additionally, we provide the program at Depew Middle School, with deposit pickups every Tuesday.
