- Previous coaching and supervisory experience
- Banking or credit union operations experience preferred

WHAT THE JOB IS:
- Tenaciously manage a growing team

The successful candidate will join our team as the person who helps process member debit and credit card fraud disputes as well as be cross trained on electronics processing. From making phone calls to members and managing the claims process with them as well as processing electronic transaction clearing, you will guide our members through the Good Neighbors experience from start to finish.

- 3 years of banking or credit union experience strongly preferred
- 3 years of customer service experience
- Must be extremely independent, disciplined, & resourceful
- Possess a talent for finding a creative plan to our members

WHAT THE JOB IS:
- Answer telephone inquiries and process financial transactions in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Input information on new plastic card accounts.
- Research and resolve member inquiries regarding account statements, disputes, and monetary adjustments using an investigative approach.
- Process file maintenance requests such as name and address changes, replacement cards, and requests to close accounts.
- File debit & credit card claims with our processors and file insurance claims as required.
- Balance to associated general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile and balance daily banking account settlements and performing other department duties.
- Process and balance daily postings of direct deposits, allotments and drafts.
- Verify the accuracy of postings and resolve any discrepancies.
- Record and balance all unprocessed items.
- Post overdraft notices.
- Issue “stop payments.”
- Return all Government Reclamations.
- Process and correct all EFT transactions transmitted daily from the Federal Reserve.
- Assist in solving member issues or questions on EFT/ACH.
- Send all bank to bank and international wires.
- Utilize all credit union procedures and computer tools to create and generate reports and correspondence.
